Blue Lagoon Pools

Blue Lagoon Pools designs and builds custom inground pools. Family owned and operated, with more than 50 years of combined experience and, as the company puts it, the same owners, the same shop and the same phone number. The people you meet at the start of a project are the people who see it through. The company is fully licensed and insured in Pennsylvania and also takes on pool renovation projects.

Four ways to build a pool

• Bio.design Sand Sculpted Pools. Blue Lagoon is an official Bio.design dealer. A Sand Sculpted pool is shaped in the basin itself, with a walk-in beach entry, natural seating and hydrotherapy zones.
• Fiberglass. Pre-finished shells from Latham and Imagine Pools, for which Blue Lagoon is an authorized dealer, installed in a matter of weeks.
• Gunite (concrete). Fully custom shapes and finishes.
• Vinyl liner. Flexible shapes with a liner that can be refreshed over the years.

The company recommends the type that suits the site, the family and the budget, and it is an authorized Pentair dealer for pool equipment. Financing is available.

Service area

Fiberglass, gunite and vinyl liner pools are built in roughly a 35 mile radius of Exeter Township: Berks County and parts of Montgomery, Chester, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Northampton, Schuylkill and upper Bucks counties. Sand Sculpted Pools are built across a wider region: Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio.

What customers say

Reviews describe a team that explains the work as it goes. "Very pleased with this company! Meeting and going over all of our plans with Laurie Robinson... she provided excellent customer service," one homeowner wrote. "Todd was very professional and helpful from start to finish," said another, and a third noted that "Derek went over everything from top to bottom and made sure we understood how to use our new pool equipment." On the finished work: "Blue Lagoon did an outstanding job on our pool, concrete also looks amazing!"

What has changed The company now concentrates on designing and building pools and on renovation projects.

Getting started

The office at 3848 Penn Avenue in Sinking Spring is open weekdays, with Saturdays by appointment. The company takes on qualifying projects, so the first step is a conversation about the property and the pool you have in mind.
