Skilled Installation with Unmatched Expertise

Installing a trailer hitch or wiring harness isn’t just about bolting on hardware—it’s about precision, safety, and long-term reliability. Our installation bay is staffed by technicians praised for their technical skill and attention to detail. Customers have noted that our installers anticipate additional needs, such as specialized wiring harnesses, ensuring no detail is overlooked. One reviewer said, “Installer was very knowledgeable—I didn’t even know I needed the harness,” a testament to our team’s proactive approach. While a few customers have mentioned inconsistent finishes, we view every piece of feedback as an opportunity to refine our process and deliver a flawless result every time.

Putting Customers First Through Clear Communication

We understand that time is valuable, and nothing frustrates more than unexpected delays or lack of updates. In response to feedback about missed calls and incomplete work notifications, we’ve strengthened our communication protocols. From confirming appointments to real-time status texts while your vehicle is in the bay, we aim to keep you informed every step of the way. Our goal is simple: you arrive with questions, and you leave with clear answers—no surprises, just seamless service.

Professionalism and Thoroughness—Our Hallmarks

Step into our facility, and you’ll notice a culture of professionalism and respect. From the front-line service associates who greet you at the door to the installation team who double-checks every bolt, our staff is committed to going above and beyond. Customers frequently describe our approach as “very professional and thorough,” and many have shared that they would “highly recommend” our services based on the quality and care they experienced. Whether it’s ensuring proper torque specifications on a hitch or routing wiring neatly out of sight, our attention to detail gives you peace of mind on every journey.

Leadership You Can Rely On

At the helm of Trailer Hitches at U-Haul Shillington is Chris, our facility manager and a pillar of customer satisfaction. Time and again, customers praise Chris for his approachable demeanor, prompt problem-solving, and genuine dedication to their needs. One review summed it up perfectly: “Chris the manager is a super fantastic employee and is UHaul’s best asset!” Under his guidance, our team continuously hones its skills, embraces customer feedback, and maintains a positive, can-do attitude.

Going the Extra Mile—Literally

We believe exceptional service isn’t just a catchphrase—it’s demonstrated in action. On a sweltering summer afternoon, one of our technicians paused mid-install, braved the heat, and slid under a truck to secure a harness connection that would have otherwise been overlooked. That level of hands-on care is why our customers feel truly looked after and why our shop stands out in Shillington and beyond.
