Events
Your event, first on the events pages.
Add your event to BerksConnect, free, and promote it for the days you choose. It goes first on the events pages, its category and town pages, and the homepage, right up to the day itself.
$5 a day. One payment, no contract.
Jobs
Your opening, first on the jobs board for a month.
Posting a job is free. Promoting it puts it first on the jobs board, every jobs page it’s on, and the homepage for 30 days, one payment. If the job closes sooner, you pay for the days it ran. Promoted jobs take turns at the top when more than one is running, and yours is always in the promoted group.
$99 for 30 days.
Deals
Your deal, first while people can still use it.
Post the deal from your claimed business page and promote it for the days you choose. It goes first on the deals pages, its category and town pages, and the homepage, in front of people deciding where to eat and shop. The deal’s end date sets the limit.

The form shows the total and whether an issue of the weekly email falls inside your run. A job is one price for a month. - 3

A new posting goes to the top the day it’s approved, and one already live goes up right away. Your account shows what it’s getting.
Promotion questions
Do I need to post it first?
No. Post it and promote it in one go: the posting form asks whether you want it free or promoted, and you pay once after you submit. You can also promote something already on BerksConnect from your account. Deals and jobs are posted from your claimed business page; events need no business page.
Where will it appear?
First on its own pages, its category and town pages, and the homepage. When more are promoted than there are top spots, they take turns.
When does it start and end?
A new posting goes to the top the day it’s approved; one already live goes up when you pay. It runs for the days you chose: calendar days, Eastern time, and the last day ends at midnight. An event runs up to the event itself, a deal up to its end date, and a job for its full run or until it closes. If a new posting isn’t approved, the whole amount comes back to your card.
Is the weekly email included?
If an issue of The Berks Catch-Up goes out while your promotion is running, yours is featured near the top of it.
Is this the cost to post a job?
No. Posting is free. $99 puts your opening first for 30 days.
What if it’s taken down early?
The promotion stops, and the days it didn’t run are refunded.
How do I see the results?
In your account: shown how many times, clicked how many times, and how many email readers saw it.
