Job Summary

Available Cardiopulmonary Tech Positions:

M-F 9AM-5:30PM; Weekend, Holiday and Call Rotation

The Cardiopulmonary Technician:

Assists the anesthesia provider in caring for patients.

Assists the anesthesia provider in preparing for complex cases such as open-heart surgery, valve replacements, pacer lead extractions, and liver and kidney transplants.

Assembles equipment used for anesthesia related procedures, maintains anesthesia equipment, assists with operating room turn overs, and cleans/stocks operating rooms.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree

Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.

Experience

Relevant Experience

Certification and Licensure

BLS Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire date

LPN or certification from Certified Anesthesia Technology Program
