We recognize that many excellent local service providers (plumbers, electricians, contractors) operate primarily through word of mouth and deserve to be found online.

How We Select and Verify Businesses
Every business in our directory goes through a verification process designed to ensure accuracy and legitimacy. Here's how it works:
Data Collection
We aggregate business information from multiple public sources, including state business registrations, licensing databases, and publicly available listings. This gives us a foundation of verified business data that we continuously update and refine.
Verification Process
We verify key business details (name, address, phone number, website, hours) through multiple sources. When business owners claim their listings, they provide additional verification and can update their information directly.
What Plus and Premium Mean
Plus and Premium businesses have paid for a listing plan that includes enhanced visibility. On relevant category and city-category pages, Premium listings receive priority over Plus listings, and Plus listings receive priority over Basic listings. Eligible Premium businesses may also rotate on the homepage. The plan badge identifies paid status; it is not an editorial endorsement or quality rating.

Reading through hundreds of reviews to understand what customers really think about a business is time-consuming. Our AI-powered review analysis does that work for you.
What We Analyze
We analyze publicly available reviews to identify recurring patterns and themes. Our AI looks for consistently mentioned positives and negatives, common customer experiences, and specific details about service quality, pricing, and reliability.
How We Present It
Rather than making you read 500 reviews, we surface the key themes that emerge from customer feedback. You'll see what customers consistently praise, what concerns come up repeatedly, and what makes a business stand out (or fall short). This gives you actionable insights in seconds rather than hours.
Transparency
We clearly label AI-generated summaries so you know what you're reading. The original reviews are always available. Our summaries are meant to complement, not replace, your own research.

Paid plans change display order on category and city-category pages. They do not change ratings, summaries of recurring themes from public reviews, factual business information, category eligibility, or editorial coverage. General keyword search currently does not use plan priority.
