Qualified candidates should possess.

5 years of experience in transportation / distribution environment

3 to 5 years of experience supervising or managing a team of employees preferred

Transportation Management System experience preferred

International transportation / customs experience preferred

Develop and analyze metrics to support the business plan as outlined by the Sr. Logistics Manager

Build and maintain an effective team - Interviewing, training, mentoring and accountability

Identify, develop, and implement Carrier Freight Operations best practices throughout all EPM Divisions / Modes of transportation

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing including presentation abilities

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze problems and formulate alternative/creative solutions to problems

Adept in multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; can effectively listen and give details accurately

Knowledge of DOT regulations, including but not limited to hazardous shipments and freight classifications

Exceptional interpersonal skills: a team player with proven ability to work across functional areas and all levels of the organization

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Open to coaching with the ability to apply feedback

Ability to lead and coordinate multiple priority projects concurrently

Must not have any active code of conduct violations

Must have acceptable attendance (as per Transfer policy guidelines)

Directing others, relating to others (strong interpersonal skills,)

Must be able to communicate effectively written and orally in English

Education

Associates or bachelor's degree in logistics preferred

Equivalent level of work experience will be considered

Must have High School diploma /GED or Above
