Join East Penn Manufacturing as an IT Support Specialist!

Are you passionate about technology and helping others solve technical challenges? East Penn Manufacturing is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and operational assistance for business applications and technology solutions. In this role, you'll work closely with end users, business stakeholders, IT analysts, and developers to ensure the reliable performance of critical systems that support our organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional who enjoys problem-solving, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for business applications and technology solutions.

Perform daily and weekly processing activities within supported applications.

Manage user security, permissions, and access rights.

Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests through the support ticketing system.

Troubleshoot technical issues ranging from simple to complex.

Maintain accurate ticket documentation, activity tracking, and reporting.

Follow issues through to resolution while providing timely updates to end users.

Recommend process improvements and support ongoing service enhancements.

Assist with system integrations and application support initiatives.

Collaborate with IT team members, business users, and stakeholders to implement effective solutions.

Support continuous improvement efforts and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional user support.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Working knowledge of common information technologies, business systems, and software applications.

Experience supporting ERP systems is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, certifications, and experience will be considered.

Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or application-specific certifications are a plus.
