Job Summary
Extern Opportunities for Radiologic Technologist Students at Reading Hospital's School of Health Sciences:
Every Other Weekend: Sat/Sun 10AM-6:30PM
The Radiologic Technologist Extern:
Works under the supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist in assisting the technologist who performs radiographic procedures.
Demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
Maintains a knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
Remains sensitive to the physical, cultural and emotional needs of the patient.

Education Requirements
Actively enrolled in a JCCERT accredited RT program
Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
Certification and Licensure
BLS Certification
Required Skills
