Barrel and Ale: $1 Off Drinks and Drafts Monday to Friday, 3-5 PM

Happy hour at Barrel and Ale runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 PM, with $1 off drinks and drafts. The one exception is Busch Light, which is not included. No end date is stated, so the window holds as long as they list it.
Barrel and Ale sits along historic Old Route 100 in Boyertown, among rolling foothills and centuries-old farms. It is a neighborhood bar and American restaurant with a dining room and a large full bar, in a building that was renovated by local owners of several other area restaurants.
Regulars talk about the burgers, especially the smokehouse burger with house-smoked cheddar and bacon, and about the wings, which come out crisp outside and juicy inside. Honey BBQ and lemon pepper get the most mentions, with bee sting and garlic parmesan close behind. The giant pretzel, served with two dips, is the starter big tables order first.
The rest of the menu runs from hand-patted burgers and sandwiches to German sausage, seafood, and a 12oz NY strip. Weekly specials include a Monday wing special, a Wednesday burger special, and a Thursday cheesesteak special, all in house only. Wednesday bingo runs 6 to 8 PM and music trivia is Thursday from 7 to 9 PM.
You will find them at 961 North Reading Avenue in Boyertown. The happy hour is listed on their website along with the draft lineup, which rotates. Reservations are accepted, and large parties are asked to call ahead.
