Homeless shelters & emergency housing in Berks County

If you have nowhere to sleep tonight, Coordinated Entry at the Berks Coalition to End Homelessness is the front door during the day and 211 after hours. Each shelter serves a specific group (single adults, women and children, families, youth, people leaving abuse) and has its own intake. Transitional and supportive housing are longer stays with a caseworker.

We are adding help from agencies, nonprofits and churches across the county, each with who qualifies, what it costs and a phone number we have checked. Meanwhile, dial 211.

Every rule, cost and phone number here comes from the provider. We are a guide to Berks County, not the program: call before you go. If something is wrong, every service page has a report link, and our corrections policy says what happens next.
