About the workshop
Spend a Saturday evening painting with a Twist at the Exeter Township studio on Perkiomen Avenue in Reading. An artist leads the session step by step, and you take home your finished work on a 16x20 canvas. Rayven is the instructor for this class. Optional add-ons include a glitter pen, a glow paint pen and a do-it-yourself scented soy wax candle in more than a dozen scents.
This is an adults-only, bring-your-own-beverage class. Painters aged 16 and 17 may come along with an adult painter, and guests must be 21 or over to drink alcohol in the studio. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and food. The studio supplies cups, plates, napkins, corkscrews and bottle openers, but not ice or utensils, so pack ice if you need it.
Plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the start time to get settled and smocked, or up to 30 minutes early if you want more time. If you add the candle, arrive 30 minutes early to make it. Seats are limited and are reserved ahead of time on the studio's event page.
