Galactic Turtles Blacklight Painting Class

About the workshop
Paint a galactic turtle scene on a 16x20 canvas in a guided studio session with artist Laela. The design is made for blacklight, so the stars and colors glow once the lights change. The class is recommended for ages 8 and up, and no experience is needed because each step is taught as you go.
Sessions run Saturday afternoons. Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to get smocked and settled in your seat, or up to 30 minutes early if you want more time to visit before painting starts. The studio uses non-toxic acrylic paint that can stain fabric, so wear clothing you do not mind getting a little paint on. Aprons are provided.
The studio is bring your own beverage, and only guests 21 and over may drink alcohol. Cups, plates, napkins, bottle chilling sleeves and bottle openers are provided, so bring your own ice and any eating or serving utensils. Optional add-ons include glitter, a handheld UV flashlight to keep your artwork glowing at home, and a do it yourself scented soy wax candle.
