About the workshop
Paint a jeweled turtle step by step with instructor Laela at Painting with a Twist in Exeter Township. You pick your own colors, so every turtle leaves the studio looking different. Choose a 16 by 20 canvas or a 16 by 20 wood plank board for your painting. This class runs Saturday mornings and is open to all ages, with the artwork recommended for ages 9 and up. Adults are welcome to paint too, and all ages classes are often a mix of kids and grown-ups.
We suggest arriving about 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, put on a smock and settle in. Aprons are provided, but wear clothes you would not mind getting a little paint on, since the acrylic paint is non-toxic but does stain fabric. You may bring snacks and drinks. The studio is BYOB, so alcoholic beverages may be present; you must be 21 or over to drink, cups are provided and you bring your own ice.
Add-ons include a glitter glue pen and a do-it-yourself scented soy candle, which asks you to come 30 minutes early. If you book separately from friends, note your group name in the special request box and we will seat you together. Reserve your seat through the studio's event page.
