About the workshop
Paint the Lovers Moon on a 16x20 canvas with step by step guidance from instructor Brandalyn. You can paint it as a set, with two canvases that pair up side by side, or paint it solo as a single scene. Adding a ghost to your moon is up to you. This one runs Saturday evenings, and no painting experience is needed.
The class is for painters 18 and up, and painters 16 and 17 may join when an adult painter comes along. It is BYOB, so bring your own drinks and food. We are told the studio provides cups, plates, napkins, corkscrews and bottle openers, but not ice or utensils, so pack those if you need them. Guests must be 21 or over to drink alcohol in the studio, and staff may ask for ID.
Plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the start time to get settled, smocked and in your seat, or up to 30 minutes early if you want more time. Latecomers may not be able to paint. Optional add ons include a glitter glue pen and a do it yourself scented soy candle, and the candle also calls for arriving 30 minutes early. Seats are reserved and paid online; use the special request box to ask to sit with your group.
