About the workshop
Painting with a Twist hosts this guided painting event at their Exeter Township studio on Perkiomen Ave in Reading. Brandalyn leads painters through the Simply Meant to Be design, which goes on one piece instead of being split across two. You choose either a 16 by 20 canvas or a 16 by 20 wood plank board when you book, and you take your finished work home with you.
The class runs Tuesday evenings. Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to get smocked and settled in your seat, or up to 30 minutes early if you want more time to relax first. Painters who arrive late may not be able to paint. Optional add ons include a glitter pen, a glow paint pen, a stainless steel wine glass, and a do it yourself scented soy candle, which needs a 30 minute early arrival.
This is a bring your own bottle studio for drinks and food. Cups, plates, napkins, bottle chilling sleeves and bottle openers are provided, so bring your own ice and any eating or serving utensils. You must be 21 or over to drink; painters 14 and up are welcome with an adult painter. Reserve and pay for your seat online or by phone ahead of time, and note your group's name in the special request box if you are booking separately from friends so you can be seated together.
