Fiber Studio: Teen Handicrafts at Reading Public Library
Starts Thu, Sep 17, 4:00 PM · Free · Ages 13 to 17

About the program
Fiber Studio is a drop-in style craft series for teens in the Teen Loft at the Main Library in Reading. Participants try a variety of handicrafts, including knitting, card making and cross stitch, with more crafts mixed in across the sessions.
Some meetings feature a guest teacher from the Yocum Institute, who introduces the art of printmaking. Sessions run in the late afternoon and last about an hour, so teens can come after school and work at their own pace.
The program is open to teens ages 13 to 17 and is free to attend. No experience is needed. For the current meeting schedule and any sign-up details, check the library's event page or contact the Main Library.
