About the class
Food for Tots is a hands on "cooking" class at the Northeast Branch of the Reading Public Library, made for babies and toddlers up to age 5. Little ones get to handle food, stir and assemble a simple snack, and taste something new, with a grown up alongside them.
The activities are built to give young children practice with gross and fine motor skills while they build confidence putting together a snack of their own. Each session centers on one easy recipe. Expect a bit of mess, so dress your child in clothes that can handle it.
If you have questions or concerns about the ingredients used, such as food allergies, call the branch ahead of time and ask to speak with Marissa. See the schedule panel for upcoming session times, and check the library's event page for any sign up details.
