Lego Free Build is a drop in building session for children at the Reading Public Library's Southeast Branch. Kids dig into the branch's bins of Legos and build whatever they like, with no set project to follow.
Along with the Legos, the branch puts out Lincoln Logs, blocks and other building materials, so children can switch between them and take their time with an idea. The program runs on a repeating schedule at the Perkiomen Avenue branch, and it is meant for ages 6 to 11. Parents bring their child in and stay nearby during the hour.
No materials are needed, since everything is supplied at the branch. Check the schedule panel for the current dates and times, and contact the Southeast Branch if you have questions about sign up or what to expect.
