Homeschool Days: Rockwell and Wyeth Illustrating Stories on Canvas
Starts Thu, Sep 24, 10:00 AM

About the class
Educators from the Reading Public Museum lead a morning of special tours and hands-on projects built around illustrators Norman Rockwell and Andrew Wyeth and the way they told stories in paint. Families explore the galleries together and then make art of their own.
The program is designed for elementary school age students, and younger and older siblings are welcome to take part. It meets at The Neag Planetarium on the museum campus on Museum Road in Reading. Registration includes museum admission for the day of the program. Library passes and other promotions cannot be used for this program.
Reservations are required, and you can sign up through the event page on the museum's website. Groups looking for a different theme or time can ask the museum about private homeschool workshops.
