About the class
Miss Kellee leads this evening session at the Bethel-Tulpehocken Public Library for people who are new to backpacking. She covers what gear works best, how to handle food and eating on the trail, and which trails are good ones to hike.
There is time set aside for questions, so bring anything you have been wondering about before your first trip. All ages are welcome to attend, and no experience is needed.
The program meets at the library at 8601 Lancaster Avenue in Bethel. Please sign up ahead of time through the library's website, or by calling or texting 717-933-4060.
