About the class
Chocolate sommelier Estelle Tracy leads this tasting session at the Exeter Community Library, where the topic is taste itself and why one person's "yum" can be another person's "yuck." You taste and talk through what you notice, and you learn how differences between people shape what each of us enjoys.
Each person receives two chocolate samples along with a paper strip containing PTC, the compound used to help identify super-tasters. Try the strip, compare notes with the room, and find out where your own palate lands.
