About the program
Bring a book to the Kutztown Community Library and read aloud to Gracie, a certified therapy dog, alongside her owner Mrs. Blatt. Gracie listens patiently while readers take a turn with a page, a chapter or just a few minutes of quiet reading practice.
The program meets on the fourth Monday of each month in the late afternoon. In June and July it shifts to late morning, and in holiday months such as November and December it moves to the third Monday. It is open to all ages and all reading levels, from beginners sounding out words to established readers who simply want time with a very good listener.
No registration is required, so you can come to the library and join in. We suggest calling the library ahead of time with any questions about the program.
