Art Blast is a hands-on art program for children at the Reading Public Library. Kids try out different materials and make their own art projects, with room to experiment and express themselves.
The program is for children and their families, so a grown-up is welcome to come along and join in. Sessions run at the Main Library children's area on 100 S 5th St in Reading, on Thursday afternoons for about an hour.
Supplies are provided, but quantities are limited and materials are handed out while they last, so coming early helps. No registration information is listed, so just drop in at the children's area at the start time. For questions, the library can be reached at its main number or by email.
