Chess Club meets in the children's area at the Main Library on South 5th Street in Reading. Players can learn the basics of the game or take on the group's instructor from the Million Youth Chess Club. All skill levels are welcome, so beginners and players who want to sharpen what they already know can both take part.
The club is for children ages 5 and up. Sessions run for an hour on Monday afternoons, and boards and pieces are provided at the library.
