Food for Thought is a food and cooking series for children at the Reading Public Library. Miss Julie leads each session, and participants work on basic kitchen skills, try new recipes, look at ways to plan meals, and cover the basics of food safety.
The program is built for kids, with groups for children from birth through age 5 and for ages 6 to 11. It meets in the children's area at the Main Library, 100 S 5th St in Reading. This is a repeating series, with dates scheduled from mid September into October 2026. Younger children will likely want a grown-up along to help.
To sign up or to confirm the next meeting date, see the event page on the Reading Public Library website or ask staff at the Main Library. All Reading Public Library locations are accessible.
