There isn't one best chiropractor in Berks County. There's the practice near you whose approach suits you, and that's a different answer in Boyertown than it is in Sinking Spring. So this list is grouped by where the offices are, built from what each practice says about itself on its own site and what its patients praise, and every office on it has been verified open; the county chiropractors page has the rest, town by town.

All twelve practices get a full section below, and an adjustment, the word you'll see throughout, is the hands-on work on the spine and joints that every chiropractor does. These ten lines are a quick look in page order, not a top ten; Christel Chiropractic and Fatkin Natural Healing have full sections too. What a visit costs and what your insurance covers is a different question, and what a chiropractor costs in Berks County answers it.

  • Smith Chiropractic & Wellness Center: two offices and one team, veteran-owned, with massage and stretch therapy alongside adjustments.
  • The Wāv Collective: a Penn Avenue practice whose chiropractic menu runs from TMJ to "Pregnancy and Postnatal Care" and "Wāv Kiddos", where patients say there's a space for kids while they wait.
  • Dr. Super's House of Health: pregnancy, infant, pediatric and sports chiropractic on Quarry Drive, with a free fifteen-minute consultation.
  • Shillington Family Chiropractic: Dr. Dolan's long-running family practice with massage on site.
  • Centre Park Chiropractic: two chiropractors, a licensed massage therapist and x-ray on site in the Centre Park neighborhood.
  • Ghessi Chiropractic and Wellness: chiropractic plus a nutrition-and-testing approach it calls functional medicine, under one roof in Fleetwood, with a free first consultation.
  • Link Chiropractic Clinic: adjustments, massage and a women's health center on Pricetown Road, with a free consultation to start.
  • McClimon Chiropractic: the Birdsboro office that says it treats you like family and doesn't turn patients away over insurance status.
  • Carr Chiropractic and Wellness: Dr. Carr's family style practice in Boyertown, infants to grandparents, massage on site.
  • Chiropractic Arts Center: Dr. Frisina's Morgantown office a mile off the Turnpike, open into the evening Monday to Thursday.

Which chiropractors are on the west side of Reading, from Sinking Spring to Shillington?

The west side's practices on this list sit along Penn Avenue or a short way off it, a few minutes from Wyomissing, West Lawn and Shillington. Five of the twelve are out here, and they range from a two-office group with stretch therapy to a practice whose specialties begin with pregnancy and infants. Christel Chiropractic's address says Reading, but it sits on the Shillington line, so it belongs with this group.

Smith Chiropractic & Wellness Center, chiropractic, medical massage and stretch therapy, in Sinking Spring.

Smith Chiropractic & Wellness Center is one team working out of two offices with the same phone number and the same hours: 3443 Penn Avenue in Sinking Spring and 3646 Pottsville Pike in Muhlenberg Township. Its site sums up the work as "Chiropractic, medical massage & stretch therapy in Sinking Spring & Muhlenberg, PA" (medical massage is the practices' term for massage that's part of the treatment), and its motto is "we treat the source, not the alarm." It's veteran-owned, and the site carries separate pages for auto injury and workers' comp, along with a pricing page, so you can read the numbers before you call.

What patients wrote is mostly about getting in and the feel of the office. "They were able to do a same day appointment," one patient wrote, and another kept it short: "Office environment is clean and inviting." If you live anywhere between Sinking Spring and Muhlenberg, you can pick whichever office is closer and you'll see the same team either way.

The Wāv Collective, integrated health care with pregnancy, postnatal and kids' care, in South Heidelberg Township.

The Wāv Collective is at 4906 Penn Avenue, Suite 201, at the Sinking Spring end of Penn Avenue in South Heidelberg Township. Its stated mission is "to create space for individuals to become more connected to themselves and their community through integrated health care," and the chiropractic menu bears that out: it lists "Pregnancy and Postnatal Care" and children's care the practice calls "Wāv Kiddos." Dr. Felicia Devine, Dr. Taylor Sandin and Dr. Brianna Shotwell are the chiropractors named on the site, and the practice also runs an infrared sauna.

Parents show up a lot in the reviews. "You never have to wait more than 5 min. Which is a huge blessing especially when I'm bringing children along," one patient wrote. Another said "They provide a space for my kids to be entertained while they wait," and a third mentioned that "All the ladies at the front desk are always so sweet and offering water or coffee." If you want a chiropractor who expects a toddler in the waiting room, this is the west-side practice whose patients say so.

Dr. Super's House of Health, pregnancy, infant, pediatric and sports chiropractic, on Quarry Drive in Reading.

Dr. Super's House of Health is at 2209 Quarry Drive, Suite B-21, a Reading address west of the city. Dr. Tabetha Super, Doctor of Chiropractic, writes that she "specializes in pregnancy, infants, pediatric, and sports Chiropractic," and the office also offers medical massage, all under the banner "putting your family's health first!" New patients can book a free 15 minute consultation, and the site prints a full price list, so there's no guessing about what a visit runs before you walk in.

Explaining is what patients mention most. "Dr. Super is incredibly knowledgeable about how the body works and loves to take her time explaining," one patient wrote, and another put it as "They take the time to explain everything in a way that's easy to understand." For a family that wants the same chiropractor through a pregnancy, a newborn and a teenager's sports season, this is the practice on the list that names all three.

Shillington Family Chiropractic, a family practice with massage on site, in Shillington.

Shillington Family Chiropractic is at 227 East Lancaster Avenue in Shillington, and Dr. Dolan runs it. The site's banner is "We Help You Achieve Total Wellness," and massage is on site too.

Patients talk about the time Dr. Dolan takes, and about how long they've been coming. "They take their time with all their patients, listen well, and the staff is very friendly," one patient wrote. Another wrote simply, "I have been going to see Dr Dolan for the past 30 years." It's the family practice of the west-side group, with patients who've stayed.

Christel Chiropractic, auto accident and sports chiropractic, in Reading.

Christel Chiropractic is at 1829 New Holland Road, Suite 14, a Reading address on the Kenhorst side, right by the Shillington line. Its services line is short: "Chiropractic Care, Auto Accident Chiropractic, Sports Chiropractic."

The front desk gets named in patients' own words. "Susan is always friendly and helpful with making appointments and accommodating changes," one patient wrote. Of Dr. Christel, another said "He listens carefully and adjusts or advises accordingly," and a third has "been a patient of Dr. Christel for 29 years." If you've been in a car accident, that work is on the front of the site here, and Smith has a page for it too.

Which chiropractors are in the city of Reading and Muhlenberg Township?

Reading proper and Muhlenberg Township, just north of the city line, have two practices with full sections on this list, and they're different animals. One is a two-chiropractor practice in the Centre Park neighborhood with x-ray on site; the other began as a chiropractic office and grew into a wellness center. The shorter list at the end of this post adds a Raymond Street practice with a Reading address if you'd like a third option.

Centre Park Chiropractic, hands-on care for the entire family with massage and x-ray on site, in Reading.

Centre Park Chiropractic is at 600 Centre Avenue in Reading, in the Centre Park neighborhood the name comes from. The site puts it as "Chiropractic and Therapeutic Massage," and more fully as "Hands-on chiropractic care for the entire family with licensed massage therapist and on-site x-ray facility." Dr. Steven Hearing and Dr. Ann Hearing are the chiropractors, a licensed massage therapist works alongside them, and online booking is new on the site, so you can set a first visit without a phone call.

Patients describe the people more than the adjustments. "Personable, professional, accommodating & all around great," one patient wrote, and another noticed "A friendly environment and always a smile on everyone's face." For someone in the city who'd rather not drive out to the suburbs for an adjustment, this is the in-town practice on the list, and the x-ray on site means one less stop if the doctors want a picture.

Fatkin Natural Healing, a chiropractic office grown into a wellness center, in Reading.

Fatkin Natural Healing is at 498 East Bellevue Avenue, a Reading address in what the site calls the Muhlenberg Township area. The site calls it "a wellness center owned and operated by" Dr. Zachary Fatkin, and the story is told in Dr. Fatkin's own words: "I began my small business as a chiropractic office, and have since grown it into a wellness center," one that now includes a nutrition program the practice calls Nutrition Response Testing and other services. The line under it is "get your whole family back on track."

So this is the practice on the list where adjustments are one part of a wider menu rather than the whole of it. Patients write about the building and the people: one was "greeted with smiling, up beat, positive staff," another called it a "super clean place. Very inviting," and a third wrote that the "new facility is welcoming and comfortable." If the wellness-center approach is what you're after, this is Muhlenberg's version of it.

Which chiropractors are in Fleetwood and northern Berks?

Northern Berks is Fleetwood country on this list, with two practices a few miles apart: one on West Main Street in the borough and one out on Pricetown Road. Both pair adjustments with a nutrition-based approach they call functional medicine, and both offer a free first consultation. Oley and Bernville practices are in the list at the end for anyone farther out.

Ghessi Chiropractic and Wellness, functional medicine and chiropractic under one roof, in Fleetwood.

46 W Main St, Fleetwood, PA

★ 5.0 (44 reviews)

Ghessi Chiropractic and Wellness is at 46 West Main Street in Fleetwood, and Dr. Brian Ghessi runs it. The site's headline is "Functional Medicine & Chiropractic," with the tagline "Two powerful healing paths under one roof." Functional medicine, as the practice describes it, is a nutrition-and-testing approach to the whole body alongside adjustments, and the site lists its principles as "Drug-free & non-surgical," "Doctor-led care," "Root-cause approach" and "Whole-body wellness." Medical massage is on the menu, and the practice offers a free consultation for new patients.

What patients notice is the patience. "His staff are always kind, caring and knowledgeable!" one patient wrote. Another wrote that "Scheduling an appointment is easy, with hours to meet everyone's needs," and a third that "He is so patient with his patients! He takes the time to explain everything and answer any and all of your questions!" If you want the nutrition side and the adjustment side in one building, this is where northern Berks has it.

Link Chiropractic Clinic is at 3130 Pricetown Road, Suite H, outside Fleetwood. Its services line names chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, a women's health center and a nutrition-based functional medicine line. Dr. Wachtmann, who goes by Dr. Tom on the site, gives a free consultation to start.

Patients describe a friendly office. "Dr Tom is so very nice right from the start. He explains everything he is going to do and listens to what your issues are," one patient wrote. Another said "The office is bright and well decorated," and a third wrote, "The staff is friendly and attentive and the service is impeccable." For a Fleetwood-area household that wants one office for the adults and the kids, this is the one patients describe that way.

Which chiropractors are in Birdsboro, Boyertown and Morgantown?

Southern and eastern Berks spread out, so these three practices are a drive apart: one in Birdsboro, one in Boyertown and one in Morgantown. Carr calls itself a family style practice, McClimon says you're treated like family, and patients at all three write about having things explained. A second Morgantown practice is in the shorter list at the end of this post.

McClimon Chiropractic, where you are treated like family, on Main Street in Birdsboro.

McClimon Chiropractic is at 3346 Main Street in Birdsboro. The site says: "From the moment you walk in, you are treated like family." And the site adds, in its own words, "We do not turn patients away because of insurance status."

Patients write about being heard. "Dr. McClimon listened to everything I said… and explained every aspect of his treatment to my satisfaction," one patient wrote. Another was glad of the logistics: "Very organized, easy check in, and minimal waiting time." For the Birdsboro side of the county this is the practice on the list, and the Morgantown office below is the other option on this end.

Carr Chiropractic and Wellness, a family style practice from infants to the elderly, in Boyertown.

Carr Chiropractic and Wellness is at 29 East Philadelphia Avenue in Boyertown. The site says Dr. Carr "emphasizes a family style practice for patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly populations," and that the office is "proud to serve the Boyertown, Douglassville, Gilbertsville and surrounding areas." Licensed massage is on site.

The reviews back up the family part. "Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional," one patient wrote. Another wrote that "They are incredibly kid friendly, Maureen even held my baby to keep him comfortable during my appointment." If you're in Boyertown or coming over from Douglassville or Gilbertsville, this is the Boyertown practice on the list.

Chiropractic Arts Center, chiropractic, massage and wellness a mile from the Turnpike, in Morgantown.

Chiropractic Arts Center is at 3605 East Main Street, which is Route 23, in Morgantown, and the site puts it as "Located 1 mile from the Pa Turnpike Exit 298." Its three words are "Chiropractic · Massage · Wellness," and its tagline is "Quality Care You Can Trust Since 1994." Dr. Charles Frisina is the chiropractor, and the site notes that "we also focus on preventative strategies." The hours are printed on the site, Monday to Thursday from 7:30 in the morning to 7 at night, so you can come after work on those four days.

Patients mention the clock and the explaining. "Never a wait of more than 5 minutes at appointment time," one patient wrote, and another, "Always gets me in same day!!" A third said "He took the time to educate me," and added that "Staff is pleasant and helpful as well." For the Morgantown end of the county, and for anyone coming off the Turnpike, this is the practice on the list.

More to look at.

Nine more practices are worth a look if one of them is closer to home than anything above.

How we picked the best chiropractors in Berks County.

What went into this list is each practice's own website and the patient reviews behind the Berks chiropractor listings on BerksConnect. The test was the same for every office: a Berks location verified open as of October 2026, the practice's own description of what it does, and, where BerksConnect holds reviews, praise from its patients about the visit. Nothing here is ranked, the groups are geography, and nobody paid to be included. Every card links to the office's listing, which carries its hours and phone. This is general information, a list of practices and what they say they do, not medical advice; a question about your own back or neck goes to a chiropractor or your doctor.

Questions people ask about chiropractors in Berks County.

Who is the best chiropractor in Berks County?

There isn't a single answer, and this post doesn't pretend to have one. The twelve practices above are grouped by where they are, not ranked, and each heading carries what that office says about its own focus. Start with the group nearest you, read what the practice says it does, and if none of them is close enough, the county page lists everyone else.

Is there a chiropractor in Wyomissing, Kutztown or Hamburg?

Wyomissing has Heinz Chiropractic on Penn Avenue, which is in the list at the end, and the Sinking Spring and Quarry Drive practices above are a few minutes from Wyomissing. Kutztown and Hamburg don't have a practice on this list, but the county chiropractors page has a browse-by-city section that shows who practices in each town.

What does a chiropractor cost in Berks County, and does insurance pay?

That's its own post, and what a chiropractor costs in Berks County goes through prices, insurance and Medicare without making you guess. If your doctor sends that sore shoulder to physical therapy instead, physical therapy cost in Berks County covers that side the same way.

How do I check that a chiropractor is licensed in Pennsylvania?

The State Board of Chiropractic licenses Pennsylvania chiropractors, and the Department of State's license lookup, called PALS, shows a license and its status when you search by name. Our post on what a chiropractor costs in Berks County points you to it.

Pick the group nearest home, read what the practice says about itself, and make the call; that's the whole job. If you want the full field, the county chiropractors page has every Berks chiropractor town by town, and if you're lining up more than a chiropractor, our guide to healthcare providers in Berks County has the rest.
