AA Comics and Cards

Tucked into the heart of Lebanon, PA, AA Comics and Cards isn’t just another comic book store—it’s a gathering place for collectors, gamers, and pop-culture enthusiasts. From the moment you step through the door, you’re greeted by high-energy displays, the comforting rustle of bagged comics, and walls lined with board games, trading card accessories, and hard-to-find collectibles. Whether you’re on the hunt for the latest issue of your favorite series or you’re simply browsing for a spontaneous gift, AA Comics and Cards offers an inviting environment where every visit feels like an adventure.

A Universe of Products Under One Roof

One of the first things customers praise is the store’s incredible breadth of inventory. “It has the full selection of comics, but it has so much more,” says one longtime shopper, and that sentiment is echoed across dozens of reviews. Beyond the newest Marvel and DC titles, you’ll find:

• Hundreds of board games waiting to be unboxed
• Popular trading card games with accessories and premium sleeves
• A rotating lineup of Funko Pop figures and specialty collectibles
• Accessories like binders, dice, and playmats to complete your setup

Rare variants, indie publishers, and back issues are all carefully organized—bagged and boarded—to keep your finds in pristine condition. “All new books are bagged and boarded. Perfect for the collector,” notes an enthusiastic patron, underscoring the store’s attention to detail.

Friendly Experts and a Breezy Browsing Experience

It’s not just the selection that keeps customers coming back—it’s the people behind the counter. Shoppers consistently commend staff members like Paul, Kevin, and Heather for their genuine enthusiasm and deep product knowledge. As one review put it, “They know their stuff!” and another adds, “Kevin is the man.” Whether you’re a seasoned player chasing rare booster packs or a newcomer looking for reading recommendations, the team at AA Comics and Cards is ready to help you level up your collection.

Equally important is the store’s relaxed, pressure-free vibe. You won’t feel rushed or overwhelmed by pushy sales tactics. Instead, employees let you explore at your own pace and step in only when you need guidance. “Very attentive staff, but not overbearing,” shared one satisfied visitor. This thoughtful approach turns every shopping trip into a leisurely experience—perfect for flipping through comics, comparing board game boxes, or simply enjoying the buzz of a busy store.

Community, Events, and Collector Care

AA Comics and Cards shines as a community hub where players and collectors forge new friendships. On Wednesday nights, the store hosts an ever-popular board game night where everyone—from absolute beginners to tabletop veterans—gathers to learn new games and share a laugh. “Every Wednesday night they have a board game night where they open a new game and learn to play it,” enthuses one regular.

Trading card fans aren’t left out, either. Weekly booster draft events and promotion nights bring together hobbyists looking to trade, play, and snag exclusive promos. The store’s pullbox subscription service further simplifies life for busy collectors. “Pullbox is a huge plus!” one reviewer raves, while another admits they plan to move all their subscriptions over once they experience the convenience of having each new issue or pack set aside just for them.

Value, Pricing, and Special Deals

Great deals are part of the fun at AA Comics and Cards—especially when it comes to popular trading cards. “Pokemon booster packs are a steal! My kids were so excited,” boasts a parent who found three packs for less than the cost of one at a big-box retailer. That said, serious collectors should keep an eye on sealed, premium items, which can carry a higher price tag. One reviewer cautions, “Careful with AA. They overcharging for sealed products,” so it’s wise to compare and ask staff about current promotions or upcoming sales.

Trade-in values also earn praise, giving shoppers a chance to refresh their collections without breaking the bank. Whether it’s cash credit toward that vintage graphic novel or store credit for a fresh board game, the team offers transparent, fair deals that keep customers coming back.
