Prime Location and Exceptional Value

Located in an easily accessible industrial park, Allentown Park Hotel provides hassle-free parking with ample spaces in front and behind the building. Guests appreciate the quick on- and off-ramps to major highways, making commutes to the Allentown Fairgrounds or downtown attractions a breeze. While some reviewers mention the surrounding stretch lacks dining and shopping options, savvy travelers commend the hotel’s rates—often dipping into the low $70s per night—as a bargain that leaves more wiggle room in your budget for local eats and entertainment.

“I got a whole night’s stay for $73—unbeatable value,” raves one guest. Another sums it up: “Prices are a steal for what you get.” This reputation for affordability has driven many return visits, especially among road-trippers and corporate travelers who prize saving on lodging without downgrading on essential comforts.

Personalized Service That Shines

At the heart of Allentown Park Hotel’s welcoming atmosphere is a team that genuinely cares. While service experiences have been mixed—some guests report less-than-professional interactions—numerous patrons highlight standouts like Ben and Daisha, whose dedication turns a routine check-in into a memorable stay.

Ben, in particular, earns repeated praise for anticipating needs, offering local recommendations, and simply treating each guest like a VIP. “He was so kind and attentive,” one reviewer notes. “We’d book again just because of Ben’s customer service.” Equally noteworthy is Daisha, whose proactive problem-solving and warm demeanor leave a lasting impression. When a last-minute request popped up, Daisha not only accommodated it swiftly but followed up to ensure everything was perfect. These personalized touches lift the guest experience far above what you might expect at this price point.

Comfort, Cleanliness, and Character

Guests at Allentown Park Hotel find ample space to unwind, with generously sized rooms and thoughtful in-room amenities. While feedback on housekeeping shows some inconsistencies, many visitors praise their rooms as “spotless” and “immaculate,” highlighting that the housekeeping team can truly shine when everything clicks. Managers continuously work to reinforce rigorous cleaning standards to minimize reports of dirt, stains, or overlooked areas—and guests who arrive to pristine rooms walk away impressed.

As an Ascend Hotel Collection property, the building carries a bit of mid-century character. Some common areas and guest corridors hint at the hotel’s history, evoking a familiar, lived-in charm. While there have been reports of leaky ceilings or a temporarily out-of-service elevator, the hotel’s team addresses maintenance issues swiftly—placing buckets, alerting guests, and scheduling repairs as swiftly as possible. Travelers who appreciate a no-frills environment find that the occasional quirks of an older property only add to its authentic, no-pretense appeal.

Amenities & Guest Favorites

Although the on-site breakfast offering underwent changes—prompting a few disappointed remarks—the hotel’s coffee bar remains a consistent crowd-pleaser. Visitors often compare it favorably to local gas-station blends: “The coffee here is better than what you get at gas stations,” reports one devotee. Free coffee and tea throughout the day become a morning highlight for many, fueling early check-outs or late arrivals with equal cheer.

Basic Wi-Fi, comfortable work desks, flat-screen TVs, and convenient parking round out the practical side of your stay. While some guests have experienced plumbing hiccups or firmer-than-expected mattresses, the hotel welcomes feedback and promptly sends maintenance teams when called. For those who place value on functional simplicity and a friendly front desk, these rooms deliver everything you need and little you don’t.
