When: Per Spring Township ordinance, no person may be in Cacoosing Meadows Park between 11:00 p.m. and sunrise from March 1 through October 31, or between 7:00 p.m. and sunrise from November 1 through February 28, unless approved by the Board.
Parking: Limited parking in the lot off Reedy Road. Additional parking for pavilion patrons on Evans Hill Road: turn left off Reedy Road, cross the bridge, and the lot is on the right. Ordinance: no parking on lawns, no blocking fire trails, maintenance roads, or bike and hike trails; speed limit 5 mph.
Dogs: Spring Township ordinance allows dogs only on designated walking trails at Shiloh Hills Park and states that no other pets are permitted in township parks or recreation areas. Lower Heidelberg's rules for the Cacoosing Meadows Recreation Area likewise bar dogs and other pets, with an exception for trained guide dogs.
Know before you go: Restrooms are portable units. Pavilion rentals for 2026 are first come, first served; the $250 deposit is due at booking, the balance within 30 days, and the permit holder must show ID and proof of address. Call (610) 678-5399 ext. 2 for the current fee schedule. Cancellation of a large pavilion with 30 days' written notice costs residents $75 and non-residents 50 percent of the fee. No alcohol without a variance permit. Fires only in approved receptacles and never unattended.

Cacoosing Meadows Park is a 55-acre Spring Township park on Reedy Road in Sinking Spring, laid out along Cacoosing Creek where the township meets Lower Heidelberg. The township lists two entrances, 1049 Reedy Road and 3284 State Hill Road. It is a neighborhood park rather than a destination: a large pavilion, a playground, a basketball court, a grass volleyball court, horseshoe pits, soccer fields, a walking trail, creek access, and portable restrooms.

We use it for pickup games, a walk along the creek, and pavilion parties. The pavilion has electrical outlets and lighting and is rented through the township parks office on a first-come basis with a $250 security deposit; the rental fee itself is quoted by phone. The lot off Reedy Road is small, and pavilion renters get overflow parking on Evans Hill Road across the bridge.

The township ordinance gives this park later hours than the rest of the system: nobody may be in the park between 11 p.m. and sunrise from March through October, or between 7 p.m. and sunrise from November through February. Pets are not allowed in township parks other than the designated trails at Shiloh Hills, and alcohol is prohibited without a township permit.
