Founded in 1973 and purchased by Tom Collinson Sr. in 1978 (renamed Collinson, Inc. in 1981), Collinson, Inc. is a multi-generation, family owned highway specialty contractor, commercial general contractor and guide rail installation company located in Glenmoore, Pennsylvania. The company is pre-qualified in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland, as well as dozens of counties and townships within those states, and serves Wilmington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Reading, Scranton and the surrounding region. Collinson is a recognized leader in the installation of wood guide rail systems and also builds and maintains commercial, industrial and high security fencing, galvanized guide rail systems, concrete medians and shoulder barriers, sound barriers, impact attenuators, and roadside and overhead highway sign structures. Clients include PennDOT, DelDOT, Maryland State Highway and other federal, state and local government agencies, plus general contractors and commercial, industrial and residential owners. Leadership includes Tom Collinson, Jr. (President, 35+ years with the company), Bob Miller (CEO, 30+ years of executive management experience) and Todd Carlile (Vice President, 25+ years of highway construction experience), with management personnel averaging more than 25 years of industry experience.
