A Caring Team That Feels Like Family

More than a business, D and D Kennel is a family affair. Owner Diane, her daughter, and a dedicated staff treat each animal like their own. Customers frequently praise the warmth and sincerity of our team (“The owner, daughter and employees are very nice, caring people”). In emergencies, Diane’s lightning-fast responses have rescued worried pet parents—one customer wrote, “Diane answered me back immediately, even with her own house flooded… THANK YOU DIANE! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!” It’s this unwavering devotion that turns first-time visitors into loyal friends.

Deluxe Accommodations & Picturesque Country Setting

Our facility sits on an idyllic stretch of Pennsylvania countryside—think rolling pastures, fresh air, and the gentle hum of nature. Inside, every kennel is spotlessly maintained, reflecting our commitment to cleanliness and comfort. The deluxe side of our kennel, in particular, features bright, roomy suites where two furry companions can bunk together without feeling cramped. As one satisfied guest noted, “The deluxe side really is nice and clean… it is a lot brighter and nicer, especially for the price.” It’s the perfect blend of home-like serenity and premium amenities.

Personalized Anxiety Management & Medication Support

At D and D Kennel, we go beyond standard boarding. Our team is trained to recognize stress signals in high-anxiety dogs and employ calming techniques—extra playtime, soothing music, and gradual socialization—to ease nervous pups into a happy, relaxed state. For pets on medication, we provide precise administration schedules and detailed progress reports. Customers rave, “They did help with med administration too,” and appreciate the way “they took the time to explain what our dogs were doing… and made suggestions… to reduce anxiety.” Peace of mind is part of our promise.

Transparent Pricing & Exceptional Value

We strive to offer boutique-level care at fair prices. Many pet owners celebrate our affordable rates: “My dogs love going there, and the prices can’t be beat for all they do while caring for your dogs.” We also recognize that our pricing policies haven’t always been crystal clear—some guests encountered unexpected fees for extra days. To address this, we’re enhancing transparency at the front desk, ensuring every charge is explained up front. Our goal is simple: deliver top-tier boarding and training without surprise costs.

Booking & Scheduling: Continuous Improvement

Your time is precious, and we’re committed to making every visit smooth. While some customers have experienced delays—“I had to wait 15 minutes for the owner to arrive late and let us in”—we’re actively refining our appointment scheduling and improving staff coverage to minimize wait times. Our booking process is also under a revamp: we know the current system is cumbersome and lacks essential details (forcing repeat entries, confusing time slots). Soon, you’ll enjoy a streamlined reservation platform that captures all the information you need in just a few clicks.
