M. J. Electric

Nestled in the heart of Shoemakersville, PA, M. J. Electric is a full-service electrical contractor committed to powering homes, businesses, and community infrastructure with professionalism and precision. Led by owner M. J. himself, the company has built a reputation for reliable project management, outstanding craftsmanship, and an unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction. Whether you need routine wiring, large-scale electrical upgrades, or specialized installations—like neighborhood 5G tower work—M. J. Electric brings consistency and care to every job.

Commitment to Professional Excellence

From the moment the M. J. Electric team arrives on site, their hallmark professionalism is clear. Customers consistently praise the crew’s attention to detail, punctuality, and respectful communication:
• “All work has been performed professionally, safely, and cleanly.”
• “I have been impressed since day one.”

This positive feedback reflects M. J. Electric’s rigorous training and quality control. Each electrician follows a standardized checklist to ensure that wiring diagrams are accurate, code requirements are met, and every connection is secured. The result is a high‐quality outcome that stands the test of time—and earns enthusiastic recommendations from local homeowners and businesses alike.

Prioritizing Safety & Cleanliness

Safety is non-negotiable at M. J. Electric. Every project kicks off with a site-specific safety briefing, risk assessment, and personal protective equipment inspection. Beyond protective gear, the crew employs dust barriers, drop cloths, and immediate cleanup protocols to keep work areas tidy. As one resident noted:
“Typically by this point in the project people affected would be finding reasons to complain. I have none!”

By treating every workspace—indoor or outdoors—as if it were their own living room, M. J. Electric minimizes disruption and leaves a spotless environment at project completion.

Minimizing Noise & Upgrading Tools

While M. J. Electric is lauded for professional execution, some recent 5G tower installations prompted valid concerns about the loud metal-banging noise. The company recognizes that prolonged noise can test neighborhood patience, so they are investing in noise-dampening solutions and advanced, low-vibration equipment. Planned improvements include:
• Acoustic barriers around tower bases
• Hydraulic torque wrenches and anti-vibration drills
• Scheduled “quiet hours” for sensitive residential zones

By blending modern tools with considerate scheduling, M. J. Electric aims to complete essential infrastructure projects without compromising community comfort.

Commitment to Fair Labor & Community Trust

Every thriving business must earn the community’s trust—not just through high-voltage connections, but by supporting local families. M. J. Electric takes pride in transparent hiring and competitive wages, ensuring each electrician is a well-trained professional with roots in Berks County and beyond. Rather than “contractor scum,” these are skilled technicians who live locally, volunteer regionally, and reinvest in Shoemakersville’s future. This approach fosters stability on the job site and contributes to the company’s consistent track record for meeting deadlines and budgets.
