Maxatawny Township

Maxatawny Township is a municipal government serving a township in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The township administers a range of local services including trash and recycling, parks and recreation, building and zoning, and water and sewer billing through its Municipal Authority. Governing and advisory bodies include the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission, Municipal Authority, Zoning Hearing Board, and Historic Commission, among others, with agendas posted publicly for each. The township office is located on Quarry Road in Kutztown. Residents can also use the township's brush drop-off facility, which is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Friday access available by appointment.
