Engaging, Biblically Grounded Teaching

At New Life of Shillington, we believe that clear, engaging teaching forms the bedrock of lasting spiritual growth. Under the faithful leadership of Pastor Rick and our teaching team, every sermon is carefully crafted to bring Scripture to life. Rick “always listens to Jesus and is a very good teacher of Jesus,” guiding attendees through life application and biblical principles in a way that resonates long after the service ends. Worshippers consistently describe the preaching as “marvelous & excellent,” leaving each week inspired and equipped to live out their faith.

Uplifting Worship & Choir Excellence

Music is the heartbeat of our Sunday gatherings. From contemporary praise songs to time-honored hymns, our worship team leads with passion and excellence. Guests often highlight the choir’s powerful, moving performances as a standout element of the service. “The preaching & the choir singing is marvelous & excellent!” one attendee raved, capturing the transformative energy that fills our sanctuary. Whether you lift your voice alongside us or listen quietly, you’ll experience an atmosphere of heartfelt adoration and unity.

In-Depth, Verse-by-Verse Bible Study

For those hungry to dive deeper into God’s Word, our Bible study format provides a structured, verse-by-verse approach that uncovers the richness and depth of Scripture. Meeting throughout the week, these gatherings draw individuals into thoughtful discussion and personal reflection. “We learn the Lord Jesus Christ typically in a verse-by-verse format,” notes one regular participant, praising the clarity and spiritual impact of this methodical study. Whether you’re exploring a single book of the Bible or tracing overarching themes, you’ll find a welcoming space to ask questions, share insights, and grow alongside others.
