The Oley Fire Company Fairgrounds is a 14-acre grounds behind the fire station on Jefferson Street in Oley. The fire company owns it and describes it as a meeting place and a spot to walk and enjoy the outdoors when nothing is scheduled. The grounds include the Oley Fair Centre, a 40 by 100 foot heated and air-conditioned hall that the fire company rents for weddings, parties and community events, with lit parking beside it.

The main reason we come here is the Oley Valley Community Fair, held every September since 1948. The 79th fair runs September 17 to 19, 2026, from 9 am to 10 pm each day. Admission is free and parking is $5 per vehicle. The fair fills the grounds with exhibit buildings of farm and home entries, livestock judging, tractor pulls, a car and antique tractor show, carnival rides, live music under the Bandstand Pavilion and food stands run by local churches, including the fair's French fries.

Outside fair week the fire company uses the Fair Centre for fundraisers. The 2026 calendar lists a Comedy Night on November 14, a Coach purse bingo on November 15 and Breakfast with Santa on December 19.
