Petco

Nestled in the heart of Paoli, Pennsylvania, Petco Paoli is much more than just a pet supply store. Whether you’re a dog lover in search of top-notch grooming, a fish enthusiast seeking the perfect tropical aquarium, or a reptile hobbyist looking for professional guidance, our friendly, knowledgeable team is here to support every step of your pet-care journey.

A Full-Service Pet Supply Store

At Petco Paoli, we pride ourselves on being a one-stop pet store destination. Our aisles are stocked with premium food, toys, and accessories for dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, reptiles, and fish.

• Dog & Cat Essentials: From grain-free kibble to durable chew toys, our curated selections cater to every diet, age, and play style.
• Small Animal Corner: Bedding, hideouts, and interactive toys for rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters.
• Reptile & Exotic Pet Section: Heat lamps, terrariums, and substrate options—plus expert tips for bearded dragons, geckos, and more.
• Fish Store & Tropical Fish Store: Tropical tanks, water-conditioning supplies, and beginner to advanced aquarium setups.
• Goldfish Store: Bowls, filters, and specially formulated flakes and pellets for carnival and fancy goldfish breeds.

Customers often comment on our “decent selection of pet toys and food,” and although some niche items move quickly, our team works tirelessly to replenish stock and locate hard-to-find supplies. If a specialty product is temporarily out of stock, we’re happy to order it for you or recommend an alternative that meets your needs.

Expert Guidance & Personalized Service

What truly sets Petco Paoli apart is our staff’s genuine passion for animals and commitment to customer care. Guests consistently praise our team’s warmth and expertise:

• “The staff is very friendly and eager to assist. I’ve always been treated to great customer service.”
• “Staff was both friendly and helpful on top of being patient with me.”

We know that pet ownership can be overwhelming—especially for reptiles, exotic pets, or first-time fish keepers. You’ll find specialists like Andrew, whose budget-friendly goldfish recommendations have helped countless customers feel confident caring for their carnival fish:

“Andrew was empathetic to my anxiety… sold me exactly what I needed… both fish are thriving!”

For reptile lovers, we strive to deepen our own knowledge every day. While some reviews note gaps in exotic-pet expertise, we continuously train our team to provide safe, science-backed care advice so your scaly friends flourish.

Premier Grooming Services

Our in-house grooming salon is designed to pamper both pets and their owners. We understand that every breed, coat type, and personality is unique—and our talented stylists reflect that belief. Client feedback highlights a spectrum of experiences, but several stand out as truly exceptional:

• Lauren & Jess Duo: From the moment you step in, Jess greets you with a personalized welcome, and Lauren works grooming miracles. “Best grooming experience ever… her fur felt like silk after her appointment.”
• Sabrina’s Gentle Touch: Dealing patiently and expertly with anxious pups, Sabrina has earned the loyalty of pet parents whose dogs need extra TLC. “Sabrina at Petco Paoli is the BEST… does an amazing job every time with our anxious Bernedoodle.”

To ensure every appointment is smooth, please arrive on time and confirm any additional fees up front. We’ve heard concerns about surprise “materials fees” or locked doors if you’re late. Our goal is to make your visit pleasant, so don’t hesitate to ask about scheduling policies or cost breakdowns when you book.

Pricing & Value

While some guests find our pricing slightly higher than other big-box stores, they also appreciate our transparent approach to product quality and grooming expertise. We strive to balance competitive pricing with the value of professional service and personalized pet care.

• Delivery of Specialty Food: If you rely on specialty diets—like Hiro for dogs—you’ll love the dependability of our delivery service. “I order my dog’s Hiro food from Petco… Delivery is reliable.”
• Membership Savings: Enroll in our Petco Pals Rewards program to earn points on every purchase, access member-only discounts, and redeem savings on grooming services.
