The township is governed by a Board of Supervisors and maintains several advisory and regulatory bodies, including the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Zoning Hearing Board, and the Environmental Advisory Council. The township is home to Weidner Grove Park and contains multiple sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The township office on Hill Church Road in Boyertown is open Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Board of Supervisors holds its regular monthly meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Pike Township Building.
