About Reading RAGE SURF

Reading RAGE SURF is a nonprofit youth soccer club serving Reading and the greater Berks County area. Operating as Berks Soccer Academy, t/a Reading Rage SC — a 501(c)(3) youth player development organization — the club provides professional coaching for boys and girls from ages 3 to 18. Formerly known as Reading Rage Soccer Club, the club joined the national Surf Nation family and now competes as Reading RAGE SURF, connecting Berks County players to the Surf player development pathway, including the Surf Select national identification program.

Programs for Every Age

The club fields competitive Youth Academy teams for ages 8–18 and runs a Futures Program for players ages 3–7. Girls teams compete on the ECNL Regional League platform, and the club has announced a boys league platform on MLS NEXT beginning with the 2026/27 season. Beyond team play, Reading RAGE SURF offers leagues, futsal, camps, clinics, private lessons, and college and professional development support, and hosts its own RAGE SURF Flash Tournament.

Where They Train and Play

Reading RAGE SURF is a community-based club without a central office — you'll find them at fields across Berks County. The club's official outdoor turf training and match complex is the BigShow Sports Complex in Leesport, with indoor sessions at Body Zone, game fields in Bern Township and Penn Township, 11v11 turf at Exeter High School, training at Shiloh Hills Park, and summer camps at Kutztown University.

Reading RAGE SURF is affiliated with the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA), US Club Soccer, US Youth Soccer, the United Soccer League (USL), and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
