Speedway

Nestled just off the highway in Reading, PA, Speedway is your neighborhood gas station and convenience store designed for motorists on the go. Whether you’re commuting to work, heading out on a road trip, or running weekend errands, Speedway delivers fast, reliable fuel service combined with everyday essentials under one roof. Our clean pumps, well-lit forecourt, and commitment to value make us a trusted stop for drivers throughout Berks County.

Fuel Savings with Our Discount Card

At the heart of Speedway’s appeal is our popular Speedway Rewards discount card. Shoppers rave about the tangible savings every time they fill up: “Great prices on gas. The discount card gets $ off your gas.” We understand that fuel costs add up quickly, so we designed our loyalty perk to help regular customers and families save at the pump. Simply present your card at checkout to unlock reduced prices instantly, and watch your savings grow with each fill-up.

Speedy, In-and-Out Convenience

Time is precious, and Speedway thrives on efficiency. Frequent guests appreciate the streamlined checkout process and the fact that you “get in and out fast.” With multiple service lanes and friendly cashiers at the ready, you can fuel your tank, grab a snack, and be back on the road in minutes. Whether the morning commute is tight or you’re squeezing in a late-night coffee run, our station ensures minimal wait times and maximum convenience.

Friendly Faces Behind the Counter

Speedway’s team members serve as the friendly faces that round out your visit. Many customers praise our “super nice, helpful employees” who go the extra mile—offering directions, finding the right snack, or walking you through our loyalty program. While our staffs’ professionalism can vary on busy days, our goal is to greet every visitor with a smile and prompt attention. We actively train our associates to prioritize customer care, so every trip leaves you feeling welcome and well assisted.

Clear Communication on Hours & Accessibility

We strive to keep our posted hours accurate, but recent feedback has highlighted inconsistencies—customers arriving at 4 a.m. or on weekends sometimes find the doors locked despite illuminated signage. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and are updating our information across digital platforms and on-site signs. Your time matters, and we want to ensure you can rely on us whenever you need a pit stop.

Snacks, Beverages & Equipment Updates

Inside, you’ll find everything from grab-and-go sandwiches to a selection of snacks and cold beverages. Our beverage machines are intended to deliver your favorite fountain drinks and coffee blends, but we recognize issues with cup dispensers and coffee-creamer machines that can disrupt your experience. We’re currently performing maintenance on our drink stations to eliminate spills and dispenser jams. While our amenities are designed for self-service speed, we don’t compromise on quality—expect fully stocked shelves and, soon, smoother beverage runs.

Payment Options & Future Enhancements

To maintain a secure and accurate checkout, Speedway currently requires all transactions—fuel and in-store purchases—to be finalized indoors. While we understand the convenience of pump-side payment, our in-store process helps prevent pricing errors and unauthorized use of discount cards. We’ve noted concerns about being unable to pay at the pumps and are exploring technologies that balance customer ease with robust security. Until then, our quick indoor lanes ensure your charges are correct, and our staff is on hand to handle any mismatches or refund requests—no matter how complex.
