Miller Symphony Hall is an 1,100 seat concert hall in downtown Allentown, PA, home of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, in a building converted to a theater in 1899.
The Allentown Symphony plays its season here, with RDT's Nutcracker on December 5 and Holiday Pops on December 19, and the Jazz Upstairs series adds a Friday night combo most months. Students 21 and under get free tickets to most symphony concerts. The Met: Live in HD opera broadcasts run on Sunday afternoons, and the building is a pre-1900 theater that has had $12 million in restoration since 1990.
