Romeo's Pizza & Pasta: 2 Large Cheese Pizzas and 2-Liter Soda $29.99, Wed and Thu

Romeo's Pizza & Pasta runs three combo specials on Wednesdays and Thursdays only. Two large cheese pizzas with a 2-liter soda is $29.99. A large cheese pizza with a 16-inch Italian stromboli and a 2-liter soda is $32.99, and a large cheese pizza with a large Italian sub and a 2-liter soda is $29.99.

They are a pizza restaurant at 30 W Wyomissing Ave in Mohnton, a modest storefront set up for takeout with a small dine-in area. The seating is limited, but the room is clean and comfortable.

Regulars talk about the Famous Grandma Pizza, with its thin, garlicky crust, and the Penne alla Vodka Pizza. The Chicken Marsala comes up often too. Sauce, dough and cheese are made in house each day, and customers tie that to the flavor across both the pizzas and the pasta plates.
