SURGE VOLLEYBALL: Adult Open Gym Fridays for $10

Adult open gym at Surge runs Fridays from September through May for $10, open to players 17 and up. Times are listed with registration, and adult open play is open to anyone in the local area. Every adult participant signs a waiver and pays the fee before playing, and advance sign-up is required for all open gyms.

Surge Volleyball is a gym and volleyball club in Fleetwood, at 110 W Arch St. It serves players of all ages and skill levels, from first-timers to competitive athletes.

The club is known for its coaching. Sessions lean on structured drills for serving, passing, setting, hitting, and defense, with personalized feedback and a mentorship-minded approach. Families single out the open gym in particular, where the training exercises are set up to include everyone on the floor.

There is more on the schedule than open play. Surge runs girls and boys club programs through 18U with tryouts, fall leagues, a junior league, a genderblind quads league, adult indoor tournaments, private lessons, and small group skills clinics. Clinics are $10 for Surge players and $40 for non-Surge players, and junior open gyms are also $10. Club culture includes team gatherings and social events.
