About the event
The Salem Homeschool Group at Salem Church in Lenhartsville is running a charter bus day trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, December 15. The bus leaves the church lot at 2150 Old Route 22 at 6:30 AM, arrives at the museum around 10:10 AM, leaves Washington around 4:15 PM and is back at Salem around 7:50 PM. Lunch is on your own in the city, and a short list of nearby restaurants is provided before the trip.
The cost is $60 per person and covers the round-trip bus (Wi-Fi, restroom and air conditioning), museum admission, the Washington Revelations ride and the All Creation Sings experience. Payment is due by November 1 by cash, check, Zelle or Venmo, and there are no refunds; if plans change, the organizers ask you to find a replacement for your seat. A waiting list opens once the bus fills.
The trip is recommended for ages 8 and up. Younger children are welcome with a parent or guardian, and no child may travel unattended. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes.
