The Reading Symphony Orchestra returns to the Santander Performing Arts Center with a program built around Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, one of the most recognizable works in the orchestral repertoire. Its four-note opening figure has echoed through concert halls for generations, and hearing it played live by a full orchestra is a different experience entirely from hearing it through speakers.

The Reading Symphony Orchestra has long been a cornerstone of the arts in Berks County, drawing professional musicians from across the region for performances in downtown Reading. The Santander Performing Arts Center, with its restored theater interior and warm acoustics, makes a fitting home for an evening like this one.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, giving concertgoers time to find their seats and settle in before the music begins. Group arrangements are available for parties of ten or more.
