Food help in Berks County runs through Helping Harvest, the food bank that supplies the pantries, mobile markets and free meals across the county. Most pantries follow the state income guideline and ask you to sign a form; free meals are open to anyone. SNAP and WIC are separate government benefits, applied for through the state.
