Free Rides to Cancer Treatment From the American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society's Road To Recovery program gives free rides to cancer-related medical appointments. Trained volunteer drivers pick you up, take you to your appointment, and drop you off at home, at no cost.
To qualify, you must be traveling to a cancer-related medical appointment. Other requirements may apply. For example, a caregiver may need to come along with a patient who cannot walk without help or who is under age 18.
Call 1-800-227-2345 to schedule a ride and to learn what is available in your area, what the specific requirements are, and what other resources may help you during cancer treatment. It can take several business days to coordinate a ride, so call well in advance of your appointment date.
