BARTA Special Services runs most of it from one office in Reading: the free bus and shared ride for people over sixty-five, paratransit for people with disabilities, and free medical rides for anyone with a Medicaid card. Book at least two working days ahead. Volunteer drivers and paid vans cover the rest.
