Academy Aide

Part-time childcare aide role at Stepping Stones Academy-Reading. Responsibilities include greeting children, monitoring classroom activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of children, assisting in the preparation of activities, assisting in preparing breakfast, snacks and lunch, actively monitoring children during nap time, encouraging strong language development, attending required meetings and trainings, and respecting and upholding the confidentiality of enrollees. Requirements: must be able to relate to children, high school diploma or equivalent (required), 1 year of experience (preferred), team player, at least 18 years old, and able to carry 30 pounds or more. Hours are Monday through Friday, 20 to 30 hours per week. Pay is $9.00-$15.00 based on experience and education.
