Advertising Sales Representative – Berks County

BerksConnect is the hyperlocal website for Berks County — local businesses, news, jobs, and events in one place. More than 9,000 Berks County businesses are already listed. Residents use the site to find a company when they need one.

We are hiring an Advertising Sales Representative to sell BerksConnect advertising to businesses throughout the county.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect and contact local businesses by phone, email, in-person visits, and networking
• Work leads from BerksConnect and build your own pipeline
• Speak directly with owners and decision-makers
• Sell upgraded listings, premium placements, category sponsorships, and homepage advertising
• Recommend the right option for each business
• Close new accounts and look for the next sale with the same customer
• Keep a clean pipeline and stay on top of follow-up

Who We’re Looking For

• Comfortable prospecting and starting conversations with local businesses
• Able to explain value and ask for the sale
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong communication and follow-up
• Familiar with Berks County and the local business community
• Advertising, media, or B2B sales experience is a plus

Compensation

1099 independent contractor. Commission-based. Structure and earning potential discussed in the interview.

Location

Live in or near Berks County and be able to meet businesses throughout the county.
