Anticipated - Learning Support Teacher - Senior High School

The Exeter Township School District is seeking a compassionate special education teacher at our Senior High School. The selected individuals will:

Be responsible for planning instruction and/or adaptation of the education program to enable students to benefit from educational experiences.

Assist in development, implementation and evaluation of district-approved curriculum.

Plan curriculum, lessons and special education programs utilizing specialized and adaptive teaching methods and materials.

Evaluate academic and social growth of students, prepare and maintain appropriate educational records, IEPs, required forms/reports and provide specific and timely feedback.

Foster an environment which encourages active student participation in the learning process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Education.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Special Education and required supplemental professional development.
